Lee Said:
<<Fiasco? It worked splendidly. The Black Dragons never got a chance
to go into action, which, especially if there had been a Japanese
invasion, might have been crippling. Not only that, but the intense
racial hatred following Pearl Harbor among some of the white Americans
had no local outlet.>>

With respect, Lee, I have heard that the founders of fascist Japan were
indeed, the Black Dragon society; but I am doubtful of the efficacy of the
Black Dragon saboteurs in the USA. In the paralance of the 90's youth, I
don't think they were "all that", at least not in the USA.

The descendents of the Black Dragons are the Yakuz crime syndicate, and while
I don't underestimate them, I don't overestimate them either.

<<I was referring to the events following a really serious terrorist
incident (unlike 9/11). No time to deport anyone. Maybe you're
talking about steps to be taken now. I think that now the US is doing
approximately the right thing: investigate and keep tabs on possible
terrorists.>>

Lee, by then (the next successful terror strike in whicj 1000's of Americans
are slain) there will be a mad scramble to arrest the perps, and anyone
having anything to do with the incident. If we start now to screen Islamic
residents in the USA as well as naturalized citizens who seem affilated with
Jihaddi groups, we run a much better chance of identifying and deporting bad
guys. If you simply kick-back and wait for the next strike, you will imprison
or kill the innocent with the guilty.

If you say "what the hell?" then when things change, and they always "change"
you may someday witness your taxes going up by billions and billions to pay
reparations, to the families of completely innocent people.
If you start kicking out Jihaddis now, you save billions and help prevent
America from "shiting its own bed", to put it pungently.
