>Last mile arguably should be high-speed wireless.
I think it will eventually be both, and in fact it would be cheaper
to do the wireless so expect it first.
It's hard to beat fiber for sheer bandwidth, and all you have to do
is tack a wireless node on the end of a fiber to do both.

>So where is my highspeed wireless mobile internet service?
>Nowhere. I don't care if it takes a government run Internet

You don't need the government, in fact they're in the way.
Simply say we don't have to forcibly share what we build and we're
off!
In development at least from us. I can tell you we have people
chomping at the bit to deploy this, we're just waiting and working
on changing the law.
>> If the law changes we will start deploying new solutions the day

>I don't think it is that simple.
I can tell you for a fact that we continually develop new plans in
these areas, waiting for the green light from the legal people.
I have data space cleared (like football fields) and ready for lots
of new equipment. I have mulltiple OC-48 feeds that could be
upgraded to OC-192 or OC-768 very rapidly.
