Unfortunately, this is not new. When I was in Oklahoma City working on
a project, the local news carried a similar story about the head of the
college arab student association. He was taken away by the FBI, denied
a lawyer, and was never seen since. His family was not allowed to
contact him or told where he was. Their lawyers were never allowed to
contact him. They could not get answers as to why he was taken, if he
was charged or suspected of any crime, or any information at all. It
was quite a big story locally, and I never could understand why it never
made national news.
