I believe that was Samantha. I've seen a lot of reference to
how large the US Code and such is, but none that I could give
a link to, after searching for about an hour just now (I wanted
to be able to include some official estimate on how large the
legislative burden really is, while writing my previous post).
We would probably disagree on the egregiousness of many of those
laws, anyway. :)
I did find it suggestive that in an hour of searching Google and
government sites dedicated to online access to Federal and state
codes, I was unable to find any reference to the size of the mass
of legislation, except one question on Google Answers, which was
answered with (I paraphrase), "well, what do you mean by 'law',
exactly?".
