It wasn't false. I got it from a Greenpeace spokeswoman on one of these
newsmagazine
TV programs. She was insisting that Greenpeace only supported wind power and
nothing else. The interviewer was as floored as I and specifically asked
about solar.
The spokeswoman's response was somewhat evasive - something like "we believe
the energy needs of the US would be best met only by wind power".
If hers is a minority opinion in GP, I stand corrected.
