This sounds like the conspiracy theories we have been discussing in
another thread. Do you have any evidence this conspiracy theory? Did
it ever occur to you that the environmentalists might really believe
what they are saying, or that they really disbelieve in the high-tech
approaches that extropians might propose? Fear and ignorance are much
simpler explanations than secret conspiracies to destroy the environment
for political gain.
