RE: Hello extropians.

I just joined myself, but didn't say hi to my fellow listfolk due to shyness
and concerns of relevance, particularly with the ongoing authority/expertise
strand hullabaloo. ;-) Hello, all! :-) I'm an ex-teacher who did some
postgrad studies in History before turning his attention to computers. Now
I've picked up a trade (of sorts) I'm looking for work and am putting
together my own humble concern. I also do a bit of writing, both fiction and
nonfiction, and may soon have an article in Artemis on lunar environmental
extremism. (I've had a few articles about SETI published in The Skeptic, an
Australian publication.) So far this list has been pretty much what I'd
hoped: not too sectarian, not too impenetrable, with variety and good links.
If there was an Extropian breakfast cereal, I'd buy it! ;-)

Happy to make your acquaintance there Brett.
I'm one of the silent ones for the most part too.
