Actually, I don't see what the problem is. So they are adding human
genes to animals. So what? We added the human gene for insulin to
bacteria ages ago.
If you modify the genomes of animals, gene by little gene, replacing the
animal versions with human versions, at some point you end up with something
more human than animal.
I read the article and don't precisely see objectionable comments
other than perhaps some stretched analogies.
