Examples of scarcity terminology

I'm thinking, most of the IT folks I've worked with use 'cut and paste'
(ctrl-x,ctrl-v) to describe what is almost always 'copy and paste'
(ctrl-c,ctrl-v). Whenever people use 'cut and paste' they subconciously
reinforce arguments for IP protection, by associating it to material
resource property realities. So say 'copy and paste' instead. Or maybe
'dup [pronounced 'dupe'] and paste'.

Kids sharing their audio CD collections add to an opposition memetic
matrix whenever they say 'rip mix burn'.

So remove the destructive metaphors and say 'dup mix pub' instead. How
'bout it, folks?

Thanks,
        -Mike
