Seems to be a trend -:) Hey, no one is to blame, it's the emphasis on
"sex" these past decades and a cultural habit of saying words quickly, as
if in haste to skim by the word quickly in order to express an idea. Also,
the marketing of gender identity in documentaries while advertising "sex"
that must hold some sort of responsibility.

"Sex," easy to roll off the tongue, has a nice "sss" sound (and only a 3
letter word), gets more air time than most of its colleagues while and, at
the same time, gets to be interpreted in a myriad of ways.
