Albums are becoming outmoded. Let the people select the songs
and form their own collections of songs at will. This can be
done without in any way depriving artists of incomes.

The middlemen in the industry are also largely outmoded.

Alhum sales do not simply translate into income fluctuations for
the artists. Many have contracts that do not tie their income
to album sales. The vast majority of album sale income goes to
the middlemen.
