I too shared this mindset before finding the extropian
list, now I atleast want to save the ones who help
humanity prosper (of course a subjective notion).
Then again, I read Tipler's Physics of Immortality
around the same time a few years ago, so maybe it's
just potential investment I see in certain
extropian/libertarian/(insert whatever cause you'd
like to here)...
