The more (sorry about the pun) the merrier but I think the main job's just
been filled. He's just had a $Xmillion advertising campaign on live TV, he's
got a new haircut and a bagfull of one liners! Go Max.

I am reminded of a wonderful Leunig cartoon I saw once.
It has a frightened prole looking at a large mysterious greyness. The prole
holds a long pole with a child strapped to the end of it. The prole
tentatively probes the gloom with the child. The caption?
"Face the future with a child on a stick".
Is this depressive or what! (At least it warns not to play dice with your
kids future)

another good one for the >H'ist.

The posthuman cartoon would be the reverse. A boatload of gleeful >H
critters holding a saving net back to the seething masses in a grey gloomy
darwinian fighting-pit past. The caption?
"Reach a posthuman future with Dr More on a stick"

Not being Ronald Reagan is qualification for so *many* things.
