Though I have been somewhat out of the cryonics loop for the past six month
(other than this list and CryoNet), I still think that Greg Fahy and people
like him are the only ones who can lend some credibility to cryonics. When
I was with Kryos Biomedical in Rancho Cucamonga, I was fortunate enough to
meet Greg a few times, and get regular updates from 21CM on vitrification
solutions and experimentation on pig (?) kidneys.
In the eyes of the public, I think that the only thing that will lend
cryonics credibility is to reinforce the image that it is indeed
science. Otherwise, it just comes off as looking like a bizarre, amoral cult.
