Last night on MSNBC on the news with my evil twin the other Brian
Williams they had a feature on cryonics.

The lead in made me brace for the worst but the piece by Jim Avila
was excellent!

It started out with Jim actually touring Alcor with the staff and
then cut to video of Greg Fahy in his lab demonstrating his
research on using cryonics to preserve organs for transplant. Under
Greg' head shot they displayed the name of the company, 21st
Century Medicine. Greg came off as a total professional doing
extremely valuable research that could benefit all mankind.
They went on to explain that the new protocol invented by Greg was
now being used by Alcor and would be used on Ted Williams.

If they were attempting to display cryonics in a bad light they
failed, the part with Greg and his organ transplant work was
particularly effective.
