I have a good friend who works out regularly at the YMCA. She can
cruise for hours on every cross-trainer/stairmaster in the joint.
A few months back after her medical checkup she told me her
cholesterol was in the high 240's and had been for awhile. Her
doctors were very concerned and were talking about Lipitor.
Since she eats very healthy and doesn't eat red meat at all, I
suspected a nutritional imbalance, it seems women and non-red meat
eaters in particular tend to be short on crucial B vitamins, and
both niacin and folic acid have been shown to have cholesterol
lowering effects.
I bought her GNCs Womens UltraMega formula (she's a middle school
science teacher so she needed an affordable solution) a couple of
months back and convinced her to take them.
She just had 2 new cholesterol tests done because they didn't
believe the first one, she's down to 153. She told her doctor the
whole story about her wacky extropian friend, and he took careful
note.
Spread the ideas and take your vitamins.
