Granted. The first line of the meme was the question "does
this *kinda* work?" which is about the best one can ever
do with generalizations. Generalizations are a caricature,
a fuzzy outline, slightly better than nothing perhaps, but not
a lot better. It is unclear to me why people are alienated by
generalizations however. If it works, use it. If not, out the
window with it.
