Which suggests a great business idea: Anders' Non-exploding Batteries
and Safe Chairs. Not to mention running a consumer testing company:
worried about the stuff you buy and want quick info? Subscribe to
Anders' Consumer Reports. Can you trust these companies? Well, you could
check with other consumer report companies or organisations, or ask your
friends.

The point is, regulation is not always necessary to produce safe and
useful products. Sometimes it might be, but one shouldn't immediately
jump to the conclusion that it is the best solution all the time. There
are many other possibilities to consider.
