Dr Graps asked:
<<Do you honestly believe that they are that shallow? Open your eyes and
ears, to those folks complaints, please.
Amara >>
Dr. Graps, yes I believe most are that "shallow". This is certainly NOT how I
would phrase it at all. Envy is an extremely, powerful emotion. They are
aware that, even at American bases in Turkey, how Americans airman, and
sailors had, comparatively,m money to burn. They see some American films,
which have rich, beautiful homes in them, untypical, but to the Arab Street,
it is how it looks. 'Women walking around, shamefully, ungarbed, as they
should dress much more respectfully, lest they offend Allah.'
The Muslim intellectual set, much of their work appears in the government
censored Egyptian Press, find America an undermining influence of Islamic
principles and law, A corruptor of the young. Egyptian newspapers blame Jews
for poisoning chewing gum, so as to get young people to commit 'fornication'.
They rightly, accuse us of supporting the Saudis. But most of America,
especially White America were just fine with supporting this "moderate"
regime that funds the Wahabbi propaganda machine. Cap Weinberger and company
loved to sell those AWAC's to Saudi, as well as f-15's and by jumbo, they
did. But had we opposed that regime, these same, muslims would have been
just as insulted.
The Palestinians want their freedom, a state of their own. Is that all they
have wanted Dr. Graps? I contend no, they want Israel gone and the Jews dead.
This has been according to polls conducted by the Palestinian's themselves.
This is a fact of the mentality of most Muslims in the middle east. This is
what they want, in the same way that Stalinists carried out Comrade Stalins'
orders during the 1930's, and the Whites during the 1960's opposed Black
voting rights, its part of the culture, part of the society, and I take it
seriously. Hatred is never shallow, Dr. Graps. They need a scapegoat and
Khomeini's great Satan is it, the USA.
I do listen to what the Muslim world says, what the muslim world claims, and
I try to read what they say to each other, and not to what they say to the
non-Muslim; and I rather say, I don't like what I hear.
