Egad, the horror, the deprivation. See if you can find the hauntingly
beautiful Ken Russell BBC black and white program about Elgar.

Was. Part of the poignancy of listening to her play is that she died early
of MS (so her almost supernatural control was lost bit by bit, like a
hideous nightmare of cruelty). And she was beautiful, and quirky, which
wouldn't matter to a robot, but does.
