This is not unlike the idea I suggested here some time back: writers
emailing a limited number of free e-copies of their new book to people they
hope will like to read them, and ask those readers to send on (perhaps
after soliciting an expression of interest) a free copy to another friend,
or even four or five, and so on endlessly. My notion was to tie this to
some kind of freely chosen `gratuitude' payment to the originator, but that
seems too difficult just manage just now.
But hey, if anyone interested in spreading the memes prevalent on this list
cares to buy a few pb copies of THE SPIKE and vector them out via this `set
books free' program, please be encouraged to do so! I don't mind losing
some royalties if it means that the ideas--and exposure to my work--get
spread about the place!
