A quick glance at the forum suggests that these items haven't
been noticed.
a) Growing dopamine producing neurons for Parkinson's treatment
from embryonic stem cells.
b) Possible isolation of pleuripotent stem cells seems feasible
in 80% of adults(!).

All I can say is that it looks like the Kurzweil & Stock paths
are heading towards the finish line neck-n-neck with each other.
Oh and as an aside to spike and the other folks flying on Southwest --
you ought to try Aeroflot sometime -- gets a bit interesting when
the fellow sitting next to you offers to pour you a shot (or two)
from his bottle of Vodka....
