The intriguing thing is that the female mosquito is the only one who needs the protein found in a blood meal to produce young.

I have the very same problem in life!! While working for a nonprofit organization based at my local college which helps teens, I was viewed as great entertainment by everyone as the mosquitos concentrated on me instead of going after the other dozen people in the group! This has always been the case in my life.
I tend to wonder what makes me so much more appealing to the skeeters. Now if only human females found me so irresistable! : ) Well, at least I live in a world where supernatural vampires are only a product of the imagination. If they did exist, I would have been bitten a long time ago! lol
Brian, I look forward to camping with you one day. At least only half the mosquitos around will be coming after me!
best wishes,
John : )
