The World Cup is one of the best achievements of the "Transhuman Era/ C20th."
It makes some sense of Nation States, at least for those countries where
Soccer is the main religion.
Weird that "globalisation" is seen as capitalist, whereas "Internationalism" defined communism. On balance a good thing, competition means that things have a stronger chance to level up than level-out or down. Another paradox is the proportion of individualism to internationalism. I think we have to convergence (to an extent) to be able to communicate better.
That means we have to trade off some individual differences, and even cultural differences. But the absorption of new/ alien ideas also gives us greater choice, and anonymity, travel & wider range of specialist communities restores some freedoms, and even adds new ones.
It must be best to live as a fully-functioning Posthuman. That is: (Golden Dawn) to become the your higher self & commune with your HGA, Maslow's "Self Actualisation", the Taoist 'Superior Man', or Buddhist "enlightenment"). This state allows you to remain above the human condition. Which is a fallacious belief that u r something called a "human." Be above politics, religion, race and even above art! Who wants to always be trying to reach something (posthuman) if you also believe it unattainable (for X 100 years). Trans-humans are so OVER. Realise you've probably already made it so you can chill out and be a little bit less intense/ obsessed/ ...... (fill in this space).
After-human/ Post-human (current state-of-affairs) structures are largely inherited as a legacy from our ancestral cultures.
What we have in addition to them is the power of analysis made possible by MVT. Western Philosophy is a mess of competing and irreconcilable traditions. MVT gives a key to answering most or all of the outstanding problems. As scientists we should seek the simplest, most wide-ranging, and best theory.
