Let me make one thing plain that was only implied poorly in my previous
communication: Oakland PD and LAPD have been commensal (informally) since at
least the SLA-Cinque De Frees[sp]-Patty Hearst days. I don't know a lot of bad
stuff about Oakland PD at present. But I can't say I'm not skeptical.
