Depends on your notion of what greed is. Greed as the endless
acquisition of more money and more goods far beyond any need or
even an healthy desire, is a sickness. It is not in the least
"noble". It is a sickness that has been enshrined in current
economies that depend on ever more production and comsumption to
even stay afloat. It is cancerous when applied to a society and
utterly ruinous of individuals.
