Pardon, but as E. Shaun said, I don't see any such reference there. Perhaps you
meant Shop Extropy ( http://www.extropy.org/shop/ ) instead of the List
Guidelines ( http://www.extropy.org/forums/listrules.html ) ?
Aside from three (3 out of 70; that's less than 4.3%) Extropy articles which
mention Ayn Rand, the only other reference to her anywhere in the entire ExI
site (unless I'm missing something) appears in the form of a single book
listing ('Atlas Shrugged, fiction') at the Shop Extropy page. There are 49
other books on that page (1 out of 50; that's 2%), and additional books will be
added; it is already a very much revised list from the one which used to
accompany the Principles.
Looking at that, personally I can't see how one would come to the conclusion
that ExI and/or the Extropian philosophy/Principles places any emphasis
whatsoever on Ayn Rand, or that a dislike of / disagreement with Rand would be
in any way an obstacle to considering oneself an Extropian.
