I read this somewhere and it seems plausible, but cannot vouch for
scientific accuracy: Were one to categorize groups of people by
identifiable superficial physical characteristics, Asian women (and if I
remember correctly, Chinese women in particular were specified) would
outnumber any other group. Using this perspective, it's the rest of us who
are ethnic, no? (rather than non-ethnic)?
