All true, but unfortunately irrelevant. A vague association with racist
ideas, or the suspect thereof, is enough to irreversibely damage Extropian
ideas. Memes feed on attention: when time is a scarce resource you rely on
first impressions, and second hand opinions. When I suspect that a list
harbours racist ideas, neonazis, support for unmotivated violence, child
porn, satanist cults, irrationality, ..., I just stop paying attention to
it. Of course it would be much better to take the time to carefully analize
things, but who has the time. And, there are enemies out there ready to
exploit all weak points in our defenses to kill any public support for
Extropian ideas.
