I have just learned about The Ascender Alliance. It is a transhumanist organization whose primary goal is to promote the welfare of the physically and mentally challenged! I find this extremely exciting, and want to share this discovery with all of you. This group has been around for some time, but I only NOW have learned of it! lol
Alan Pottinger, an englishman, is the founder and has done an excellent job of trying to get things started. I hope everyone will get behind him in this noble effort!

I think he still has some work to do on his philosophy(why not envision reversible genetic manipulation?), but my heart is still with him. At a time when neonazi's are discussed on the list, I am grateful the Ascender Alliance is here to say no to negative eugenics.
