No No No!
To me the whole formal self referentiality issue is central to
self awareness hence consciousness hence strong AI hence........

To me Godel numbers are measurements (a form of mapping
implemented by our senses).
The resulting inconsistent sets are the models in our
brains with which we compute our 'truths'.
The self referentiality
is a temporal recursion and the equation sets continually
update towards the so-called 'omega point'.

The liar's paradox, which is what this thread is about
is, to me, a way through to understanding consciousness.

I'm doing a paper on this, so I got all
stirred up. I reckon it's extropian++
