Gina, I see you remember who started up this whole thing! And it was not Lee Corbin!! lol I just want to say for the record that Harvey Newstrom was right on for taking Lee to task regarding some actually very kind things he wrote. But Lee is one of my favorite people around here and so I do feel for him(I'm a big softy, too). As for Harvey(usually by far one of the most level headed people around), I think he did overreact just a TAD to Lee! : )
Nanogirl, PLEASE do not give up on us!!! This list would not be the same without you. I can see how you would have been offended, along with other people(myself included) after having read some of the vexing posts. But one thing I like about this list is that it rarely engages in censorship. I do not ever want to see a Committee for Unextropian Activities! And I am grateful Max More has tried to keep the list pretty open.
I just think some people around here like to play "what if games" without displaying extreme tact, and that leads to situations like this. We must all do better, but not censor unless absolutely needed.
