This is a wonderful quip! I can see it now: the Borg and the Ferengi
running a joint cupcake-stand on Deep Space Nineteen, seizing customers and
shaking `contributions' from hapless bypassers (`Resistance to our sales
pitch is futile!') before going home and pulling on their comfy slippers
and settling in to a nice evening's viewing of `Anya: the Vampire Seller'.
