Thanks to all who suggested Python. I downloaded it this evening
and it looks like it will do what I need. I am way "turned on" now
(a 60s term Samantha "turned me on" to) by open source software.

Lee Corbin has demonstrated that he is a monster math brain and
has me "turned on" to a faster algorithm for doing the search for
ever closer to perfect odd numbers. I found the GDG number
in about a tenth the time it took me to find it in the first place. I
am "like" way "turned on," "man."
