people trust me enough to vote me onto the WTA board; Max More, Natasha Vita-
More, David McF., etc. trust me enough for me to be ExI webmaster. While none
of that directly relates to chat logs and integrity thereof, it does suggest
that the most rational course of action on my part would be to not tamper with
the logs and thus risk losing aforesaid established trusts.

The whois database is a major source for spammers. I receive plenty of email
spam (which can be easily filtered), but would prefer to keep offline spam
(mail and phone) to a minimum. Putting actual mail/phone info in the whois
database is practically begging for such spam. ;-)
