I suspect that you have sufficiently sticky adhesives and are
experiencing for lack of
a better term a plasticity mismatch. Skin being very flexible compared
to rigid prosthetic materials. Also skin constantly sheds and exudes h2o
and oils (probally more when irritated).
You could try placing a felt or latex layer between the skin and the item
you wish to attach. I would focus on flexible adhesives like rubber
cements checking for skin compatability first. Also double sided tape
with a foam layer in between might create an acceptable interface between
skin and rigid materials.
Maybe the prostetics could be made as flexible as skin?
