Hi folks --
Last month, in a response to a post here from El Sid, Spike mentioned a
piece he'd written for the Exponent in which he mentioned the term
technogaians.
It was a term which caught my attention and, when I mentioned to an editor
of the paper I write for, she suggested I explain what it might mean in 600
word --- due later today, of course.
First request then: I've sent an e-mail directly to Spike but, seeing as I'm
a subscriber to EXTROPIANS but not a member of The Extropy Institute, I
can't get the Exponent online. Can anyone grab that for me and mail it over
to me at dakin@globeandmail.ca.
Second request: Anyone have any thoughts on what technogaian is/was/wants to
be. You've got until about 6 pm EDT to let me know. I am, incidentally,
drawing heavily on some of the stuff Natasha Vita-More and others have done
through Pro-Act.
Thanks.
