as to the legality of this labeling:

Putting labels on produce at a publicly-accessible fruit
stand is not trespassing unless and until you are asked to
leave, and may be prosecuted as vandalism, but if you are
in the right vis a vis the original labels being misleading
or false, you can probably get out of jail and get the laws
changed if you can get a good lawyer and good publicity.
Otherwise, you do it out of the strength of your convictions
and suffer the consequences.

But because you > have put him into a category which you count as an enemy, in your mind > that gives you the right to harm him. Organic farmers hardly "eke out a living". They are raking in funds hand over fist with high prices that are generated by the hyped up fear of GMOs, biosolids, fertilizers, and pesticides that is propagandized by these same farmers. I know plenty of organic farmers, and they unanimously are the most prosperous and debt free farmers I know. It is they who are profiting at the expense of those who they vilify with their lies. > > This is what happens when your approach to controversial issues starts by > making an enemies list. What will happen is that there will be several labelling incidents across the country. They'll be publicized, and if anybody gets busted, we'll have the ACLU on their case faster than you can say "tofu". This is a far cry from tearing up millions of dollars of agricultural research plots and burning down $12 million ski lodges.
