Where will they get their power, if not radiated from space, and requiring

### Maybe the AI could construct diamondoid pressure vessels (many millions
of atmospheres should be possible with concentric layers of stressed carbon,
with nanorepair devices to allow minimalizing the mechanical safety margins)
filled with a fluid containing deuterium, and a dissolved neutron shield
(boron?). Shockwaves resonating in the vessel would be focused in the
center, for continuous fusion from cavitation (assuming the unpressurized
acetone flask doesn't do the trick). Nanosieves on the inside surface of the
vessel would scavenge any radioactive isotopes and sequester them within
vesicles in the fluid medium, to protect the shell from radiation damage.
Some energy radiated by the center fusion bubble would be intercepted by the
nano lining the vessel for maintenance purposes, with the rest powering the
thinking rocks around.

The brutes on the surface would marvel at the power of volcanic eruptions
and pleasantly warm climate, despite a dimming of the sun (from the
matrioshka shells in the ecliptic).
