Yup, I caught that to ! No way to turn CO2 into hydrogen with chemistry. No
fusion or fission inside bacteria....I to expected some science editor at NYT
to catch that one, Hmmmm, no one took chemistry of physics?
I think he is actually referring to converting CO2 to methane, which can be
used as a source of hydrogen as in fuel cells. This would be mere bacterial
enzyme based reduction of carbon.
