I designed this suborbital ballistic business jet in X-Plane's Plane
Maker, and recommend it for those nascent rocketmen (and women) on the
list to enjoy. Requires X-Plane, v 5.52 or higher, to fly
(http://www.xplane.com). Take off from Edwards AFB or Mojave Airport on
full afterburner. Fly it to 70,000 feet and mach 3.7 before hitting the
JATO engine. Climb at 10-20 degree angles on the rocket into trajectory
at speeds of up to mach 23.7 to altitudes of 200 miles+. Comes with
autopilot and GPS, so you can set the GPS to the desired destination
airfield and lock the autopilot on it for your heading, then see how
well you set your trajectory to reach your target.

I've flown it from Majoave to Rekjavik successfully in under a half
hour.
