Brief article about Ganna Walska (credo: "enemy of the average").
Polish immigrant/performer/serial divorcee, lived to an active 97. I
highly recommend visiting her sprawling "Lotusland" garden in Santa
Barbara, California, most famous for its collection of cycads and other
ancient plants (make reservations months ahead of time of possible, a
limited number of visitors are allowed to keep peace with the
neighbors).
I require a very long life to appreciate such gems and hopefully create
one. And a world of staggering wealth so that many more creations of
"eccentricity, sophistication and deep pockets" may blossom.
