The former "Extropy Bookstore" was recently renamed "ShopExtropy" since it
seemed a good idea to open up to making available items other than books
(as we did years ago when I was employed full-time by ExI and had time for
more activity). I'd like to have trivial but fun and meme-spreading items
such as bumper stickers, coffee mugs, mousepads, and so on.

Since we don't currently have a staff to handle the logistics centrally,
what we can do is to give the okay to ExI members who want to get such
items made. We can sell them from ShopExtropy and divide up any profit by
agreement. Members end up with useful, fun, and extropically-branded items,
the designer/producers gets a modest reward, and ExI receives a little
needed income.

Perhaps we could do a poll on ExI-Community or the new BBS forum to see
what kinds of items would be popular, then get the ball rolling.

Onward!

Max

P.S. One of my favorite T-shirts was work by Jim Lippard. On the front it read:
"Have you forgotten about Jesus?"
If you wandered around behind him, on the back you read:
"Isn't it about time you did?"
