I am not for either one. I think it is crucially important that
we learn to see political and social questions in a new light of
extropian possibilities as well as the technical questions.
That we show when we discuss politics and current events that
being gung-ho extropians does not mean we necessarily have a lot
of wisdom in other areas or are immune to current memesets is
simply grist for the mill. It shows us other places we have
work to do to get to the sort of future we dream of.

I think there are a lot of very judgmental people on this list
that could do with a broader sampling of humanity. This very
statement assumes that your labels are accurate and say all that
needs to be said about those who may disagree with you on
particular issues. It is part of the the problem. Simplistic
labels will not get us very far.
