Plants may be stoo-pid but Mr. Lorrey's article is top-notch. It seems to me
that this technology might be adapted to extract heavy oil from already
existing well in the USA. I am talking Tertiary type oil, which exists as oil
contaminated by sulfer and metalic particulates. One essential recovery
method is to use COČ as a super-critical fluid to extract this petroleum.
Also any COČ released in such a process could immediately be recycled. This
may also free-up Oil Shale which exists in the tera-barrel range in the
Western USA.
