Oh come on spike, how do you know that's the *real* Lee Corbin?
I mean after all anyone can join the list and claim that they
are Lee Corbin. For that matter, I assert that at least 57%
of the content posted by Robert Bradbury over the last 4
months has been created by 17,129 monkeys sitting in a monastery
high in the Himalayas run through a pattern matching filter
that selects only those messages that in some way resemble
content that I've posted to the list since 1999.
Furthermore, I have it on good authority that Damien dropped
off the list last fall to focus on writing a new book.
It figures a prominent Australian molecular biologist who
in the process of attempting to use gene therapies to
extend the lifespan of mice discovers that the upregulation
of a certain gene produces mice that dig rap music.
(The dancing gerbil on the Blockbuster Video commercial
comes to mind.) Said researcher immediately dropped
his longevity research and contracted (under the table
of course) to the RIAA to develop the gene therapy
for covert use on humans.
I'm not sure who has been filling in for Damien since
then, one can only speculate.
Robert
