With the recent software upgrade, I think the ExI BBS is ready for prime time. (famous last words :)) The URL is http://www.extropy.org/bbs and a BBS registration FAQ can be found here:

The BBS contains a complete archive of the ExI mailing list messages from July 96 on. If you have ever posted to the list you already have an automatically generated BBS account (read the FAQ to see how to login).
I\'ve customized the BBS software to add a gateway to the mailing lists so that messages posted to the BBS (like this one) are sent to the list and vice versa. I have also built in an interface to the ExI chat forums which is a great way to meet your fellow Extropians in [i]realtime[/i]! ;D
