My own knowledge is from a TV newscast (I want to say 60 minutes)

search for "jewish settlement ownership" and looked at the first 20 listings.
Excluding those which seemed to be not on this topic, most, but not all were
from Palestinian sources but those supporting the Palestinian side are all
apparently quite credible. Although they are overwhelmingly case studies,
all save two support the claim that the settlement are stealing the land by
any normal standard. Those two used Bible quotation and the claim that
nobody's had title to the land for 2000 years since it was nobody's
"homeland" (uhoh, keep that guy away from *my* house deed!)
