Are you sure you guys are behaving rationally here? Suppose the movie is
worth $10 to you, you only have to pay $7 to see it, and the marginal cost
of showing the movie to an additional person is $3, then you're spending
$3 of your money and $4 of other people's money to prevent some pennies
going to the Church of Scientology. Wouldn't it be better to see the
movie and donate $3 to an anti-Scientology organization or some other
worthy cause?
And what's the deal with not buying products made in China? What cause
does that serve?
