Nobody's arguing that a Palestinian has every right to be hopping
mad when an Israeli bureaucrat spits on his land deed, but the idea
that there are "no alternatives" to blowing up innocent civilians
is clearly contradicted by the experience of _hundreds_ of peoples
far more opressed than them, who chose means of resistance that
didn't cause decent people everywhere to revile them, hurting their
cause. Even a man horribly wronged /can/ and /should/ be judged by
the moral choices he makes. Oppression justifies resistance; it
does not justify barbarity, especially when other means have proven
to be more effective throughout history.
